Designers of furniture and white ceramics, Ivan Pericoli and Benoît Astier de Villatte founded their company in 1996. The only ceramic makers in Paris, they work from their studio on Boulevard Masséna and export all over the world.
Following in the tradition of the great ceramic ateliers of the 18th century, Astier de Villatte creates handmade ceramics in Paris using ancestral molding and stamping techniques. Each piece has an inscription incised into the clay: the logo of an interlaced A and V, along with the initials of the artisan who made the piece.
A joyful collaboration with the artist Serena Carone and her world of eclectic and wonderfully unusual objects. The result is a range of handmade cups in which rings of all kinds replace the traditional handles; jewellery and treasure boxes; and exquisitely refined, hand-shaped incense burners.
