Behind the Scenes of Bobo Choses: A Legend - John McEnroe January 23 2017

The important thing is to learn a lesson every time you lose. Life is a learning process and you have to try to learn what's best for you. Let me tell you, life is not fun when you're banging your head against a brick wall all the time.”

- John McEnroe

John McEnroe is often considered to be one of the best tennis players of all time. Across the course of his career he has won seven Grand Slam singles titles as well as 77 overall singles tour titles, and in 1984 he played 85 tennis matches and only lost three, which is a record that still hasn’t been broken today. He was a very passionate player (some would say a little too passionate!) but was committed to playing the best tennis he could, developing superb volleys and the ability to anticipate what his opponent would do next. Even now, at the age of 57, he hasn’t given up playing the game, and continues to compete for senior titles all around the world.
